1. Monitor each pup closely, if available, weigh those in question
and make sure they are gaining daily. You may have to feed runty or
sickly puppies |

2. Make sure the temperature is holding around 80-85 degrees |
|
3. Monitor the dam to make sure there is no infection (retained
placenta). She should be eating and drinking OK without any fever.

Bloody discharge is normal and can occur up to 8 weeks |
