PROFILE:
Lucie is a character! She was selected primarily for conformation and
disposition and is certainly all of that. Her main job at Alderwood originally
was intended to be a breeding female, however, the signs she is showing at 13
weeks certainly qualify her, additionally, as a hunter/retriever. She is a VERY
smart dog and has a wonderful disposition. Lucie loves the water and easily
socializes with people and other dogs.

Hooch is very outgoing and friendly! He is also very curious, always
looking up the side a steep hill, sticking his head down in a hole or
swimming across a pond to see what's on the other side. He was the sire
of our first "white" litter by Maggie here at Alderwood, he has proven
himself as a sire. Reports are still coming in on this mating but
initially it appears the pups are quite intelligent, some seem more laid
back like Hooch and others more active like Maggie. We will be adding
characteristics the pups are showing as they are received. |
