There is always situations where a Lab and his family must part ways. Many times through no fault of the dog. Situations change, expectations are not met, family problems arise. We offer a placement service for these dogs.
Alderwood Lab Rescue - we offer rescue placement  for purebred Labrador Retrievers only.

There is no fee or costs involved in our rescue service. We will always refer folks who are interested in a rescue dog to the current owner. We bear no responsibility in the exchange in any way. Our only involvement is the use of our website to bring interested parties together. Rescue dogs are listed below.

McKenzie Positive Points

Her call name is "Puppy". She's a 4 1/2 yr old , spayed, female yellow lab with urinary incontinence. Current on vaccines & flea treatment. She is;  obedience trained, crate trained, well socialized , likes cats , swimming, car rides and is housebroke too. She has been around older children, but mostly plays with adults and other dogs. She is very energetic!...She is AKC breed - field trial bloodlines !....Her medical condition is caused from a birth defect called - Bilateral Ectopic Ureter. She had surgery to try and correct the problem when she was 5 months old. Over the years , we have tried everything medically to prevent the leaking, with poor results ,so I have discontinued the medications. She would make a wonderful family pet. I regretfully can no longer care for her due to my work schedule and living accommodations. I need to find her a foster home before the 27th of August. She comes with her crate, toys, bedding, flea medications, swimming pool,  food, treats, etc.
