Amber (click here for her profile) - is the
matriarch at Alderwood and we had planned to retire Amber, but she is excellent
condition,
so we decided to have one more litter, we want to advise everyone that the pups this mating produces are
exceptional. The temperament of both dogs is "laid back", Amber
is a beautiful chocolate Lab, her coat is dark sable in color with waves on her
back, she
tends to be more protective and advises us promptly when someone comes in the
driveway, we think she has passed her great "mothering ability", to
her daughter, Gretchen, who had her first litter on Jan 17, 2008. It appears
that we will perpetuate Amber's legacy in Gretchen. Amber remains a very loving Lab.
Loyal and protective, she is one of those Labs that you talk about when people
talk Labs.
Doc (click here for his profile) - is a natural retriever and hunter,
our Alpha male at Alderwood, he has an exceptional
coat and now weighs close to 100 lbs, very smart, aggressive hunter heavy
boned and strong, as always these
