Feature Book - Hooch the Pooch
(excerpt- click here)
(the tale of a white Labrador Retriever, pardon the pun)
Now that I am older, I look back on formative times in my life. As a young
person, I discovered the wonders of books, especially stories about animals.
Other favorites included stories about hunting and fishing. Among my favorites
were "Tales of Uncle Remus" as told by Joel Chandler Harris and Anna Sewell's
"Black Beauty". The characters of the animals portrayed real life experiences
and their point of view became welcome solutions to otherwise difficult life
experiences.Perhaps, you may find the same respite in the simple adventures
of Hooch as he learns to become a "good dog". The book is still a work
in progress. We have included some chapters for your consideration. It is our hope to publish "Hooch
the Pooch" when it is complete. Comments are appreciated!

Hooch can find himself in all sorts of tight spots. Of course, we never put
ourselves in that position... or do we?

|
|
|
The story of Hooch can lead us into some very interesting places, and teach some
very interesting lessons
|
|
|
the story has been designed to let us relate in a simple child like manner or
apply in real life situations that we find ourselves in.... a children's book
with practical application

Seems today stories are overly
simplistic or too deep to enjoy,
Hooch is a little different.... |

|
People want to know as much as they can in as little time as possible, sometimes
the journey is better than the destination! |

We would like your feedback about Hooch. |
